The children have embraced their role as stewards of God's creation, going out to collect litter and learning about the importance of recycling. We're pleased to report that for the recycling activity, we had to bring in some extra litter, as there wasn't much to be found on our playground! Great work!
Squirrel Class visited our Prayer Garden during Class Prayer and Liturgy this week. We thought about how we can think of others before ourselves, and how this can have a positive impact on how others feel. We finished our Prayer and Liturgy session, saying our own prayers to Mary in the silence of our hearts.
Today Squirrels began creating part of their Space collage, using oil pastels to create shades of colour to represent the different planets. We had great fun choosing our colours, but the best bit was smudging them together with tissue paper!
