An Eggcellent Tooth Decay Investigation

Excitement is brewing in Year 4,as we investigate which drink is the biggest culprit behind tooth decay!

Our curious scientists have made their predictions: Will it be the fizzy kick of Coke, the sweet allure of bubblegum soda, a comforting warm black tea, the robust taste of black coffee, the nourishing goodness of milk, the zesty tang of lemon juice or plain old tap water?

Stay tuned as they obsere how each liquid interacts with an egg—an eggcellent stand-in for our pearly whites.

We can't wait to share the results that follow! Which drink do you think will win the decay challenge?

Little Litter Warriors

Today, the Owls were challenged to help save the planet one piece of discarded rubbish at a time! We ventured out onto the scout field armed with buckets and litter pickers. The children were amazed that in just 60 minutes they had collected around 555 unwanted sweet wrappers, crisp packets, plastic bottles, drink cans and other littered items in such a small area.

We did our bit to save the planet today and we promise to continue our mission to re-use and recylce and to put our rubbish in the bin.
