Botanical Gardens Fun!

What an amazing day Year 2 had at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens! The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the Sensational Science workshop. The children were thrilled to dive into the fascinating world of science, extracting DNA from a strawberry and discovering the true colours hidden within leaves. Exploring the gardens was another treat. We wandered through the grounds, uncovering all sorts of weird and wonderful plants. The impressive cacti collection captured everyone's attention, sparking many questions and curious discussions. Well done Year 2 for representing our school wonderfully and showing great respect for the gardens and each other.
