  • Cultural Awareness: Encouraging appreciation of cultural diversity and promoting responsible citizenship through learning about sustainability and global issues.

Implementation

Our diverse Geography curriculum is delivered through:

  • Well-Structured Curriculum: Carefully planned topics that build on prior knowledge and introduce new concepts.
  • Experiential Learning: Field trips, local walks, and outdoor learning to provide real-life context.
  • Use of Technology: Incorporating tools like mapping apps to enrich learning experiences.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regular assessments to track progress and provide actionable feedback, along with monitoring progress and attainment over time.
  • Cultural and Community Engagement: Involving local speakers and projects to connect learning with real-world geographical contexts.
  • Professional Development: Ongoing teacher training to ensure effective teaching strategies.

The outcomes of our Geography curriculum include:

  • Knowledge Retention: Pupils demonstrate strong understanding and application of geographical concepts.
